August 28, 1999 - February 26, 2005


George da Orange waz a handsome & debonair orange tabbycat, who co-foundyd DaFURR in 2002, dedikating himself to da defense uf kats effuryweer. He spoke owt againzt injuztice, againzt wigz, bonnets and other kat-koztumes, and for da right uf awl kats to have adequate toyz and toonaz. He loved crabby-cakes & riding around hiz domain in hiz humoon-drawn chariot. George lived in Missouri wid hiz meowmie Melissa, hiz grandmeowmie & grandpaw and his two foofee sisfurz, Domino & Skitter.




Becauze of his bravery and hiz political stanzes, he himself waz the victim uf much aboose from hiz meowmie, who took great pleasure in puttyng him in any small-size garment she could get her hands on.





George waz an easy-going kat, who liked to nap...





He waz curiouz abawt all thingz, espechullee new pakagez which might hold a little prezzie..




(George reely liked prezzies.).




He waz of course, a loyal Amerikat...




...He reached owt to uther species, efen when dey were not on the menu.




Although laid-back, George waz no-puzhover. He waz qwick to tell an offendyng humoon to "kizz myne tail"..



(He did thiz with style dezpite having a rather short tail.)





George waz a kat among kats. We wyll neffur forget him.
